The game's first post-launch patch for all platforms is here! This update fixes a handful of issues on both PC and PS5 and also introduces a chaotic, new Wildcard into the mix, which can be unlocked from the random pool at the end of a Wildcards match just like the rest of the cards. With Shoot Through Walls active, nobody is safe. An extra deadly combo is pairing this with the Player Pinger, making snipes from across the mansion possible. Enjoy!

• Fixed an issue where Molotov Cocktails were disappearing after being thrown
• Fixed an issue where some players were getting stuck on a black screen instead of loading into a match.

New Features

Wildcards Mode

In this brand new game mode, we’re breaking all the rules! Each player chooses a card to dynamically change the game. Will yours be a curse… or a blessing? Try out different combinations for unexpected results! Shrink everyone down to 50% of their size, add a bullet proof vest to the Toy Vendor, or set everyone on fire if they stand still during the match… just to name a few!

Guest Pass Edition

Invite up to five of your friends to play Midnight Murder Club with you for no additional cost! Guest Pass Edition is a free* download that allows you to play all modes as often as you like, as long as you have a friend with the full edition hosting the lobby. Guest Pass players can play in private matches (With a paying host) or join matchmaking (with a paying host leading your party and being the one to join the matchmaking queue).
*You do need PS+ on PS5 to play, and there are some regions that can't list M-rating-equivalent downloads for free, so the cost legally has to be something like $0.25 or $1.00 or similar, but we're pricing it as low as we legally can in those regions.
